Our Strawberry Grape Jam, also known as Mostarda, is an authentic artisanal delight. Prepared with the traditional method, we only use strawberry grapes and sugar, without the addition of thickeners or preservatives. The peculiarity of this jam lies in the presence of whole grape skins, thus preserving the authentic taste and rich consistency of the fruit as tradition dictates. Our slow cooking process naturally dries out the jam, enhancing the sweet and intense flavor of strawberry grapes.

Method:

Preparation of the dough:

In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Roll out 2/3 of the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 3-4mm thick.

Tart filling:

Pour the strawberry grape jam (mostarda) onto the base of the tart, distributing it evenly.

Decoration and cooking:

Roll out the remaining dough and cut it into strips to create a grid on the surface of the tart.

Arrange the strips of dough over the jam, forming a grid pattern.

Let the tart cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
