Stuffed Chilli Peppers with Tuna Gratin
Ingredients:
6 chillies stuffed with tuna
200g of tomato puree
50g of breadcrumbs
30g grated cheese (such as pecorino or parmesan)
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt and Pepper To Taste
Fresh basil for garnish
Method:
Preparation of Chilli Peppers:
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Arrange the stuffed peppers on a baking tray lightly greased with oil.
Baking:
Bake the chilies in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until soft and golden.
Preparation of the sauce:
In a small saucepan, heat the tomato puree over medium heat.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and leave to cook for 5 minutes.
The final:
When the chilies are done, remove the pan from the oven.
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the chilies.
Sprinkle breadcrumbs and cheese over the chilies.
Gratin:
Return the gratin chilies to the oven and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and formed a golden crust.
Service:
Serve the gratin peppers hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves.

Storage method:The product can be stored at room temperature until opened. Once opened, store in the refrigerator. For better preservation, we recommend adding oil to cover the product and consuming it within 30 days.
